Today I had a naive and expensive idea … but is it really so unrealistic? We could use the petroleum pipelines technology to build sweet water pipelines and add tank ships where the sea is too deep. Melting ice / iceberg in breaking process – overpass it from Greenland, Siberia and Antarctica to dry areas. Maybe slowing down sea rise a little bit over the next decades. The sweat water could be used for reafforestation steppe and deserted areas, agricultural projects and filling driedout lakes … and of course to create a lot of new lakes, huge water-tanks and maybe even refill sub-iridian supplies for future generations. Scientists could think about how to heat up the pipelines over long distances in frosty areas.
